Obituary of Bernard G. Peltz

Bernard G. Peltz, 95, of Quinton Twp. died on Friday, June 6, 2014 died in Millville at the home of his caregiver. Born in Camden to the late Harry and Sarah Peltz, he was the husband of the late Sadelle Peltz. He had lived at his present address in Quinton for the past two years and prior to that he had been a resident of Vineland for the past 20 years. Before his retirement, Bernard had been a professor at Trenton State College and then became the dean at Camden, Somerset and Cumberland County Colleges. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He is survived by; a daughter, Audrey Guarino of Salem; a son, Morris I. Peltz of Myrtle Beach, SC ; three grandchildren, Tamara J. Dixon, Edward Dixon and Isreal Peltz and two great-grandchildren, Anella Dixon and Ellis Jack Dixon. Graveside services and military burial honors will be held on Saturday, July 12th at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Trench Road, Hopewell Township, NJ at 2 PM.
