I had lost touch with Bernie, and am saddened to read about his passing! Bernie was a part of our Amateur Radio group in Salem County, NJ for a short time. His Amateur Radio call was KE2MV. On the Salem County ARES/RACES net this evening (Sunday, 08/17/2014 9:00PM), his name came up, prompting me to search again on-line to see if I could find anything ... that's when I found this site. We always had some great conversations, some from an Amateur Radio perspective and other times from an Educational perspective. Being a Automotive Technical Instructor, he and I had many stories to tell. Education was very important to Bernie, and his family can be quite proud of him.
