Gary & family, I'd like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of Sharlena. I was deeply saddened to see her passing. I only knew her in a professional sense but I grew to feel like she was a friend. I did run into her and Gary a few times at the Amish Market though. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

I worked with Sharlena at HUP in the Clinical Research Center. Shar was always pleasant and helpful with our staff who saw patients in the center. She would go out of her way to assist patients and fellow staff. My heart goes out to her family. I cannot imagine the sorrow you feel on losing such a loving individual. Shar made her heaven on earth no matter how difficult her path was. I am sure the walk to heaven for her was very short.
Sincerely,
Joe Quinn

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF GETTING TO KNOW SHARLENE BY WORKING WITH HER AT THE HOSPITAL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER. WHENEVER I ENTERED THE CRC AND SAW SHARLENE, I WAS ALWAYS GREETED WITH HER SMILE. SHE WAS A VERY PLEASANT PERSON WHO WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO ASSIST ME WITH WHATEVER I NEEDED. SHE AND I SHARED MANY CONVERSATIONS REGARDING HER ILLNESS, TREATMENTS AND FAITH, NEVER ONCE DID SHE COMPLAIN. SHE WAS A FIGHTER, A BRAVE SOUL; ONE WHO I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER. SHE ALWAYS HAD AN ENCOURGING WORD. SHARLENE YOU ARE NO LONGER IN PAIN...YOU ARE FREE AND WITH OUR LORD.
TO THE FAMLY, I EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY. sympathy.

Dear Fuller family,
Please except my condolences. It is very heartbreaking when a love one falls asleep in death. Yet there is reason for hope. Looking to the future, the Bible tells of a “new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to God’s promise and in these righteousness is to dwell.
In this new earth all sicknesses and physical infirmities will also be healed! God’s Word assures us: “No resident will say: I am sick. (Isaiah 33:23) “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
I pray that you will find comfort in God’s promise.
