Tami and Kenny,
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle J.D.'s passing. He is my favorite Uncle. So many summer trips he would include me on with you all and I enjoyed them so much. If it weren't for him I might not have ever seen those places. We were always getting into trouble at grandma's but it was so much fun ! I couldn't wait for the summer to come so I could see all you ! He is now at peace with Aunt Dale and they are walking those streets of Gold ! Much Love to the family especially you and Kenny !

Growing up I always looked forward to Uncle JD and Aunt Dale’s coming to grandma’s house in High Point. Then Kennith and Tami joined them. We had such a good time. Aunt Dale was always calm but Uncle JD was usually drumming up some interesting conversation. He was so hilariously funny. To all the family, I’m so sorry for your lose. It is sad also for the North Carolina family. Uncle JD was so loved and we will miss him.
With loving thoughts,
Diane Green

Uncle J.D. was a Uncle that visited his family in N.C. every year in the summer. I always looked forward to the family visits from him, Aunt Dale, Tami, and Kenny. He always enjoyed wrestling and playing around with his nieces and nephews. It was my summer excitement when I was a child. I seen him last in October of 2023 and I knew in my heart that would be the last time I would see him. Him making the trip to N.C. had to be thrilling for him to see his family. He dedicated many years of his life to the Methodist Church and helped many people. He stated then "I miss the love of my life" at breakfast on the day they were leaving to return to New Jersey. He brought joy into my life and I feel blessed to be able to have had him in my life. He is with the love of his life now I believe and our Heavenly Father welcomed him with open arms. My love goes out to Tami and Kenny and I pray they know how blessed they were to have such an amazing Dad.

Such a wonderful man. He was pastor for short time at our church but I knew him for years before when I helped at vacation Bible school when he was pastor at Central Methodist. He was very compassionate for others. God Bless.
