Obituary of Chantel Monique Stafford

Chantel M. Stafford, 56, of Fairfield Township, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was the daughter of Earl Mosley Sr. and Barbara Jones Mosley and the wife to Darek Stafford Sr. Chantel had been a Cumberland County resident all of her life and most recently resided in Fairfield Twp. for the past two years and prior to that she had lived in Millville and Bridgeton. She held many jobs, most recently as housekeeping at Union Baptist Temple in Bridgeton NJ. She also worked at the Dollar General in Fairfield Twp., McDonald's in Vineland, Golden Corral in Vineland, Claridge Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, and the Vineland Developmental Center. Chantel enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a family person and had a lot of love for all of her family and friends. Chantel will be remembered for her sense of humor and laughter. She was a very giving, kind-hearted person and would do anything that she could to help someone. Chantel also loved singing and dancing and took pride in a clean home. Her pitbulls, Boots and Beans were her world and she enjoyed having them as a part of her life. Chantel leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Darek Stafford Sr.; her children, Nijha Stafford and Darek Stafford Jr; her mother, Barbara Mosley; her grandmother, Reverend Mildred Huff; her grandchildren, Jayden Moore, Jaelah Moore, Mackenzie Stafford, and Ma'Kaylah Stafford; her siblings, Virgil Jones Sr (Erie)., Earlene Mosley, Marcus Harris, and Deyonka Green (Arnold); her special cousins, Kathy Mosley and Tonya Allen-Brown, her Goddaughter, Nicole Moore; her partner, James Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her father Earl Mosley Sr.; her brother, Earl Mosley Jr.; her grandmother, Lilian Mosley; her grandfathers, Leroy Mosley Sr. and Clem Jones Sr.; her mother in-law, Helen Stafford; and her nephew, Earl Jemere Mosley. Funeral services will be held Union Baptist Temple,29 Martin Luther King Way Bridgeton, on Friday, March 22 at 11AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9AM to 11AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. following the service.
