Chantel Monique you were the prettiest girl, you loved hard and you will be sorely missed. I thank God for the times we shared together. When I was in college you would come over every week to iron my children's clothes and clean my apartment, so I could study and make good grades. You were such a great help to me, even coming over a couple of years ago to clean my yard. You did everything with a big smile.
Missing and Loving you,
Aunt Ruby

Chantel you are definitely gonna be missed. I remembered after we graduated from high school, we got hired at the Claridge in A.C. and we got fired the same time. We didn't get upset, we just went shopping every chance we could. We really had some great shopping trips. I am gonna miss your smiling face and beautiful personality. Rest In Heaven. Prayers and hugs to the family. Love, Wanda Barner

A profound sense of loss fills our hearts as we say goodbye to Chantel. Our shared memories, laced with the fervor for life she embodied, remain a treasured part of our highschool years. Her passion inspired all who knew her and will continue to guide us on our own paths. May solace find those mourning, knowing her vibrance remains undiminished in spirit.

Chantel was so kind hearted i don't care where she saw me at. She'd stop me especially if i was coming through the campground. She'd say love you cuz you good i love you then she'd give me a kiss on the cheek but she always made it a point to let me know she love's me. Or she'd say take me home on Foundry and we'd just laugh all the way. She would be in your presence and you could just feel the joy coming from her. She didn't complain i don't care what she was going through she always cared about other's and how they felt. A beautiful soul gone but never forgotten. R.I.P cuz you may be gone but you will never be forgotten you will always live in our heart's and we'll keep you alive with all your precious memories tell my mom i love her cuz take care of her until i get there Wanda Collins-Coleman.

Although our family has only known Chantel and the rest of her beautiful family for a few years, we came to know her as the most loving, caring and fun loving person. She is the grandmother to my beautiful great-grandaughter, Ma'Kaylah and as such showered her with great love and affection as she did to my granddaughter, Nicole, Darek's partner. My family will miss her and her beautiful, bubbly smile. Speaking for my family and I, we were all very fortunate to call her "family". May she rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her. We cannot even imagine the loss that her family feels and our love, prayers and thoughts are with them.

Nijah, I’m so very sorry that you and your family have lost a mother, sister, aunt, cousin & friend. I hope that memories of her will comfort you. I know it’s difficult to understand God’s timing but try to remember, To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. I hope that knowing that she is with Jesus brings you comfort. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I love my beautiful niece. She was so full of love and encouragement and fun. She loved everybody. She had a great big heart. She often told me that I was her favorite aunt but I’m sure, knowing the love she had in her heart, all of her aunts were her favorite. We’re going to miss you Chan, your beautiful smile and your deep dimples. Until we see you again. Love Aunt Spring

So sorry about Chantel. I found a scripture I like to share at JW.org, Acts 24:15, "there is going to be a resurrection," I wish your family the very best for the future.
