Im so sorry to hear of Harley passing. I worked at the court house for 30 years and it was always a pleasure when he was working at the entrance way. He knew how much we all hated doing the routine of finding parking and standing in line to go through the metal detector every morning! He would always find something to make you laugh or smile before starting your day! He was a great person and will be missed by many. May God give you the strength and love you need during your time of sorrow.

Please accept our most heartfelt condolences for the loss of Harley. We were neighbors for 13 years to Gizzy and Harley who were just wonderful and kind. However, my husband lived in the house that we ultimately purchased since 4th grade. He remembers Harley well. He mentioned his sense of humor and one memory in particular was that Harley could do a wheelie on his bike around the whole block! Thinking of your family and sending love during such a difficult time.

My birthday buddy will always have a special place in my heart. I am blessed to have many fond memories of growing up with my “uncle”. One memory in particular was when he came to my school to give a presentation to the older kids. He made a special stop in my first grade classroom. As held a Nerf ball, he talked to us about how our brains were like sponges and to soak up all of the knowledge possible. Although he was giving a good little pep talk to us young students, I was so embarrassed to see him in my social quarters that I sunk down in my chair. Looking back, I’m certainly not embarrassed and thankful that he popped in. I will cherish this memory and the many others forever.

Such a great guy, Harley always made me laugh, he had a smile for everyone. Working together at the Court House, and knowing Bonnie and his girls from our daughters knowing each other, he was truly a family man. My condolences to Bonnie and the family, he will be missed.

Harley was a great guy, fun to be around. Great memories with him and Bonnie in Las Vegas, Nevada and jumping off cliffs at lake mead, and before that high school fun and practicing high school graduation on the grass. I’ll miss you my friend. Love Nancy

Harley was a good husband, father and all a round good friend. As our friend BURT said he would have you on the floor laughing at our worst times in law enforcement. I can still hear the the mourning lip trumpet in the marble hallways of superior court. You will always be remembered my friend. God speed BAKE.

It was an honor to have worked with Harley Baker during our careers with the Sheriff's Department.
Harley was the go to person when you were having a bad day, within seconds he would have you in stitches.
I never noticed him angry or upset, always found the right solution to the task at hand.
R.I.P you are gone, but never forgatten.
