Nanny, we miss you terribly and things already are not the same without you. You taught us everything we need to know just by being you. You worked hard all your life, from your childhood on the homestead in West Virginia, to setting out for New Jersey as a teenager to pursue better opportunities. You always put family first, establishing yourself in New Jersey, then bringing Mama as well, and raising us after such heartbreaking loss. You loved us unconditionally and gave so much of yourself to see that we were happy. You are and always will be loved, remembered, and appreciated. ~Stephen Shaffer and Family
