Q: How did you meet Ernestine?
A: Dear Burrus Family,
Ernestine was a student at CRHS. I was her school nurse. Ernestine did not come to the nurses office very often! But I remember her as a polite and sweet teenager. I am truly sorry for the loss of your Ernestine. May you seek comfort and strength from your Lord, Jesus Christ.
It truly hurts my heart whenever I lose a former student. I will remember you all in my prayers.
Sincerely,
MaryAnn Saulin Bickings

Q: How did you meet Ernestine?
A: Ernestine was a student in one of my first classes in second grade. She was soft spoken and sweet and got along well with her classmates. As I’ve seen her through the years she was always ready with a smile and a hug. I never met her son but she was very proud of her daughter. Heaven has gained a sweet Angel.

I taught Ernestine in second grade at Seabrook School. She was a soft spoken, sweet girl. Whenever I ran into her through the years we always had a smile and a hug for each other. I never met her son but she was very proud for me to meet her daughter. My deepest sympathies to the very special Burris family.
