Obituary of Joan L. Frolio

Joan Knudsen Frolio passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. She was the daughter of Rose and Arthur Knudsen. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Frolio, brother Edward Knudsen, and son Ralph Donato. She is survived by her siblings Arthur Knudsen and Marilyn Knudsen Chinnici and by her grandchildren Ralph Donato, Cindy Donato Meddings, and Eric Donato, as well as her five great grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as proud aunt of her many nieces and nephews. Born January 12, 1936, in Vineland, NJ, she attended Sacred Heart Schools, and graduated in 1953. A resident of Upper Deerfield for the last 45 years, Joan was a proud member of the workforce. Besides being an accountant, Joan for many years succeeded in being #1 real estate broker in the state. When not pursuing her career as a real estate broker, Joan pursued her love of nature that included gardening along with her love of the many critters that found homes in her beautiful acres of ground. She was also known to rescue lost or homeless animals, working closely with the ASPCA. Joan's favorite vacation spot was Sea Isle City where she spent many summers. The family joins Joan in appreciation for the great care the doctors at University of Pennsylvania provided for the last twenty years. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice. Services will be private, as she wished.
