The man was a superior individual, a devout Marine, a good sense of judgement and where he belonged.
I've known his bloodline since I was about 5 , the earlier Leatherwood lived next to me and really taught me the true ideals of the native American values, and true, I followed those footsteps into the Marines.
I'd bump into him every so often on excursions throughout the management areas and as luck would have it we would have a chance to talk.
My Sincere Condolences to the Fine Family of this U.S.Marine. Semper Fidelis My Brother In Arms.
