Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Tracy and the entire family for the loss of a wonderful man, Earnie. We never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but from all the stories we heard from Tracy, he was certainly a terrific man and will be missed. He is in great hands and resting in peace. Earnie was a humble Christian man whom taught others how one should live their life through his words and actions. His music ministry with the Strings Of Gospel was widely known on the east coast from New Jersey to North Carolina and made a huge impact on many peoples’ lives. He was my father-in-law for 32 years and I’ll miss him dearly. I loved him like my own family. Rest in peace, Pop.

Earnie whom I lovingly called "Pop" was like a second father to me. His daughter Kim and I were best friends for over 40 plus years. Our gospel groups would often sing at the same churches for revival services and homecomings. Pop and Mom Riddle knew my husband when he was a very young boy. Pop always called my husband "little preacher man" because he wore a suit and carried a Bible under his arm every Sunday when they attended the Willow Grove church. Mom Riddle was his Sunday school teacher. We have a very long history with one another as our families were connected through church for many years. I will miss Pop tremendously. It was an honor to know such a godly man. He will be sadly missed but we take comfort in knowing he is completely healed and no doubt singing songs with the other members of the Strings of Gospel again to the Savior.

As I was growing up I had many memories with my poppop. My Mommom and Poppop raised my sister's and I and showed us what a true man was supposed to be and how a man is supposed to treat a woman. On many occasions I'd go over to sty the night and every morning my Poppop had fried eggs and his hot cup of tea so naturally I wanted to be just like him. Only problem was is I didn't like fried eggs, still don't but he used to make me a cheese omelette and my own version of a hot cup of tea. Once I got old enough I learned from the best to do it myself. Now every time I have a hot cup of tea I think of him. Every Saturday night we'd get our clothes ready for church for the next morning. Sunday mornings we'd have our eggs and tea and get ready Poppop had Mommom help him clean his ears, he use to joke he was Dumbo said they were too big to clean by himself. He'd always come out looking very sharp nice button up shirt short or long sleeve and some nice slacks and his teeth. The list goes on and on and on of the memories I have with my poppop. I loved and love him with all my heart, I miss him so much I feel like my heart is missing a piece and there ain't no fixing it. I love you Poppop say hi to Rebecca for me and keep the party going till I make an entrance. I LOVE YOU
