Obituary of Andres Nurk

Andres Nurk, 67, of Upper Deerfield Township, passed away in his home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Andres was born in Germany January 30, 1951 to the late Alexander Nurk and Ellen (Sarnits) Nurk. At a very young age Andres and his family moved to Upper Deerfield where he resided the rest of his life. Andres was a veteran of the United States Army serving during peacetime. He was an avid reader and enjoyed Astronomy. Prior to retirement, Andres worked for the Salem Power Plant for 18 years as a Water Quality Technician.

Andres is predeceased in death by his wife Jo-Ella (Dawson) Nurk and his parents Alexander and Ellen (Sarnits) Nurk. Andres leaves behind a sister, Aili Pogust and her husband Stephan of Marlton, NJ and his companion, Becky Beebe of Upper Deerfield, NJ.

Interment will take place privately at Northville Lutheran Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Funeral services are under the direction of Padgett Funeral Home. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website www.padgettfuneralhomes.com
