Obituary of Mildred Roberts

Mildred Roberts, 80, of Fairfield Twp. died on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Swainsboro, GA to the late Willie Cummings and Louise Watson Cummings, she was the wife of Roby Fred Roberts. Mildred had been a resident of Fairfield Township since 1967 and prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a seamstress for the Theber Company and Mark Manufacturing both in Bridgeton. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Brotmanville. She is survived by; her husband, Roby Fred Roberts of Fairfield Twp.; five sons, Lonnie Roberts and his wife, Andrea of Jacksonville, FL, Wayne Roberts of Millville, Jeffery Roberts of St. Petersburg, FL, Alphonso Roberts and his wife, Sherry of Fairfield Twp. and Edward Roberts of California; three daughters, Dawn Nadine Roberts-Church of Fairfield Twp., Bonnie Rhunette Roberts of Millville and Rearcie Lavarn Roberts of Philadelphia; a sister, Doris Burns of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; a sister, Onita Hall and a brother Woodrow Watson. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, April 9th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
