Obituary of Edward M. Caesar

Edward M. Caesar, 74, of Alloway Twp. died Monday, March 7, 2016 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. Born and raised in Salem County, he was the son of the late Joseph Ceaser and Elizabeth Pierce Ceaser and was the husband of Eva Loatman Caesar. Before his retirement, Mr. Caesar had been employed with Warton and Barnard Auto Parts in New Castle, DE as the Parts Manager for 11 years. Prior to that he had been a Manager for Erhardt Auto Parts in Salem for 27 years. Mr. Caesar was an active member and officer at Haven United Methodist Church in Quinton. In addition to his wife Eva, he is survived by four children, Edward Michael Caesar, Traci Lyn Caesar and Martin A. Caesar all of Alloway Twp. and Eva Loatman of Salem; one brother, Harlan Ceaser of Quinton, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters, Priscilla “Jane” Pierce, Juanita Johnson and Hannah Carney and six brothers, George Caesar, Joseph, Russell, Martin, William and Elmer Ceaser. Funeral services will be held at Haven United Methodist Church, 354 Salem-Quinton Road, Quinton on Saturday, March 12th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
