Obituary of Mamie L. Hill

Mamie L. Hill, 65 of Millville died on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late John W. Burton and Mamie D. Harris Burton, she was the wife of Howard W. Hill, Jr. Mamie had lived in Millville for the past four months but had been a Seabrook area resident most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Seabrook Bros. and Sons for over 30 years. In her free time, Mamie enjoyed fishing, riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing pool and visiting the casinos. Mamie was devoted to her family and family barbeques always brought a smile to her face. She is survived by; her husband, Howard W. Hill, Jr. of Millville; two sons, Wayne Hill of Millville and Timothy Hill of Millville; six brothers, Jimmy Burton of Vineland, Jerry Burton and his wife, Kim of Trenton, Jackie Bryant of Newcastle, DE, Billy Burton and his wife, Deborah of New Castle, DE, Barry Bryant and his wife, Katrina of Salem and Paul Burton of Union; her brother-in-law, Eugene Hilton, Sr. and his wife, Evelyn; two sisters, Mary Brown of FL and Brenda Bryant of Millville; her sisters-in-law, Julia Thomas of Seabrook, Bernetta Saunders of Seabrook and Cordelia Hill of Millville; eight grandchildren, Tim, Dametrus, Wayne, Noah, Jeremiah, Essence, Halo and Jacob; and several step-brothers, step-sisters and other family members. She was preceded in death by; a daughter, Theresa Hill and three brothers, John Burton, James Burton and Frank Burton. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, February 18th at 12 Noon.
