Joseph T. Zebraski, 67, of Cedarville, died Tuesday, February, 28 2012 at the SJH Hospice Care Inpatient unit after a stay of seven months. Born in Bryn Mawr on September, 14, 1944, he was the husband of Brenda Glenn Zebraski and the son of the late Joseph S. Zebraski and Rita Schwartz Zebraski. He was the step-son of Gertrude Zebraski. Joseph had been a Lawrence Township resident for the past 20 years and prior to that he had been a Bridgeton resident for 40 years. Joseph had attended the Cape May County school system and Penn State University. He had worked at General Mills as a supervisor for many years. Prior to his illness in 2008, he had worked for Omni Baking as an industrial mechanic. In the 1960's he was a Class II Special for the City of Bridgeton Police Department. He had also served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam conflict for four years. He was a member of the Millville Elks lodge and enjoyed flying as a small planes pilot. Joseph was also a licensed HEUM radio operator and CB-er. He also operated a wood working shop in Dutch Neck Village. During his illness his hobbies were, playing cards with friends, going to the casino, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Brenda Glenn Zebraski of Cedarville, he is survived by; five daughters, Joan Buck and husband Anthony of NC, Dawn Byers and husband Howard of Cedarville, Shelly Wright and husband Edward of Vineland, Brandi Cardaci and husband Garrett of Cedarville, and Cristy Scythes and husband Joshua of Bridgeton; three sisters, Joann Hotlon of Fairton, Patricia Zebraski of Margate, FL, and Karolyn Benzoch and husband John of Jupiter, FL; four brothers, Thomas Zebraski of Fairton, David Zebraski and wife Dawn of Birdsboro, PA, Paul Zebraski and wife Sunyank of South Korea, and Donald Zebraski of Miami, FL; a step-mother, Gertrude Zebraski of Jupiter FL; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; an Uncle, John Zebraski of NC; and life long friends Ralph and Lois Trout of Millville. He was preceded in death by his son, James Joseph Zebraski in 1986. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township.
