Obituary of Eleanor Michael Wilson

Wilson, Eleanor Michael (nee Borella), 85 of Vineland passed on to her next adventure on January 21, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. Eleanor believed that her purpose in life was to bring happiness to her family and friends. She was cherished by all who knew her and managed to make new friends from even the most casual encounters. People were drawn to her positive, grace-filled spirit. Her life motto, which she wore on a medallion around her neck, was “Blessed and Grateful”. She recently found a new spiritual family when she became a member of Vineland Ramoth Nazarene Church. She was uplifted by the beautiful voices of the choir there and recorded them at Sunday service so she could enjoy them during the week. A Philadelphia native, Eleanor made her home in many different locations over the years, spending time in Sea Isle City and Ocean View, NJ, Mexico, Las Vegas, Davenport, FL and finally Vineland where she lived since 2004. Eleanor expressed herself creatively through cooking and was happiest in the kitchen. Anyone who stopped by was welcome to sit down and enjoy one of her delectable meals. She also loved working in her garden and was proud of the variety of trees and flowers in her yard. She is predeceased by two children; Joan Rando and Richard Michael and her first husband, Joseph Michael. She is survived by; her dear husband, Paul Wilson, a resident of the Vineland Veterans Memorial Home; three devoted daughters, Eva Feely (J.B.) of Sea Isle City, Linda Michael of Vineland and Maralyn Lee (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV. She leaves behind eight loving grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Luck of Swiftwater, PA. A memorial service will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, January 30th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. Interment will take place privately at a later date.
