Henrietta Furby Bennett, 75, of Deerfield Twp. died on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland.
Henrietta was born in Meadowbrook, W.Va. to the late Florence Toll and Agnes Rector Toll. She lived in West Virginia until she was 19 years old and then moved to Indianapolis, IN where she lived for two years. She then came to the Bridgeton area where she lived for most of her life.
Prior to her retirement, Henrietta had worked as a crossing guard for the Bridgeton Board of Education for over 30 years. She had also worked for Wheaton Plastics in Millville for a few years. Henrietta was a member of the Citizens Band Radio Club and her CB handle was Pebbles. In her free time, she enjoyed reading the paper and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by; two daughters, Suzette Bennett Drain and her husband, Jack of Deerfield Twp. and Eva Lynette Wesztergom of Upper Deerfield Twp. and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters; Margaret Davis, Eva Erickson, Juanita Furby and Jerry Hall.
Memorial services will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 35 Bank Street, Bridgeton on Saturday, January 30th at 2 PM.
