Clara J. Caine, 80, of Millville died on Wednesday evening, January 13, 2016 at the Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. Born in Mt. Airy, GA to the late Oddis Loudermilk and Elizabeth Fincannon Loudermilk, she was the wife of the late John Seay, Sr. and the late Linwood G. Caine. Clara had been a resident of Millville for the past 2 years. Prior to that, she had lived in Upper Deerfield Twp. from 1954 to 2013 and Jacksonville, FL before that. Before her retirement, Clara had worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Upper Deerfield Twp. Schools for nine years. She had also worked with her first husband, John operating the family business, Seay Bros. Pump and Tank. Clara was also an active volunteer at the former Bridgeton Hospital, the Office of Aging and at her church, the First Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell Twp., where she was a member for many years. In her free time, she also enjoyed reading, fishing and traveling. She is survived by; six children, Fred and Dianna Seay of Millville, David and Sharon Seay of WV, Sheila Seay Smith and her husband David of MD, Sharon Seay Welty and her husband Tom of GA, Steve and Maria Seay of Virginia and Barry and Laurie Seay of Bridgeton; her daughter-in-law, Claudia Seay of Greer, SC; a sister, Rebecca Shaw of GA; two step-daughters, Linda M. Clark and Joyce A. Jones; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her first husband and father of her children, John Seay, Sr.; her second husband, Linwood G. Caine; a son, John Seay, Jr.; a brother, Robert Loudermilk and a sister, Shirley Diehl. Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 350 West Park Drive, Bridgeton on Saturday, January 16th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Clara’s memory to the First Church of the Nazarene, 350 West Park Drive, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
