Obituary of Daniel E. Frazier

Daniel E. Frazier, 70, of Vineland and formerly of Bridgeton died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at AtlantiCare Hospital in Atlantic City. Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Thomas Frazier and Janice Pierce Frazier. He had been a resident at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home for 15 years and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. A Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he served his country in the United States Army. Dan was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of New Jersey, VFW Meade-Woodward Post 1795, Bridgeton and Shoemaker Post 95, Bridgeton. Before his retirement he had been employed with the Port Norris Sand Co. Surviving are his four children Natuchia Frazier of Bridgeton, Yashica Frazier of GA and Demitres Rivers and Davina Strickland both of Bridgeton; a brother, Lester Frazier of Millville; a sister, Alta Lloyd of Fairfield Twp., 7 grandchildren and 1 great- granddaughter. He was predeceased by four brothers, Thomas, Harvey, Bernard and Augustus Frazier. Funeral services will be held at Union Baptist Temple, 29 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Bridgeton on Saturday, January 2nd at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp.
