Olympia M. Dean, 42, of Millville and formerly of Woodbine and Port Norris died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at her home. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of Sharpie W. Carter and Doreen Dean-Carter of Port Norris. Olympia was currently employed with Procom Telemarketing in Vineland and prior to that she had worked at the Woodbine Developmental Center. She had previously done volunteer work at the Success Center in Port Norris. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Ke’ahra Dean of Millville; two sisters, De-Anne Pierce-Carter of Vineland and Dorenda C. Dean of Port Norris; two brothers, James H. Carter of Vineland and Shalomb Dean, Sr. of Bridgeton; her maternal grandmother, Contella Dean; special aunt, Brenda Dean-Price; two nephews, Elijah and Shalomb Dean, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by a son, Keon Dean. Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton on Tuesday, December 29th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp.
