Obituary of Rosaline E. Pierce

Rosaline Estella Pierce, age 90, of Millville died Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home. She had been in declining health for the past year. Born in Stow Creek on January 9, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Estella Pierce. She had been a Millville resident for 38 years and had lived in Bridgeton and Hopewell Township prior to that. A member of the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indians of New Jersey, she had previously been employed with the former April Orchards for several years. She is survived by a son, Whildon C. Pierce, Jr. of Millville, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by three daughters, Arlene Jeffries, Patricia Pierce and Gloria Pierce and a brother, Benjamin Pierce, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, February 28th at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM.
