Obituary of Brandi Lynn Westcott-Johnson

Brandi Lynn Westcott -Johnson, 35, of Minotola died unexpectedly on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to Josiah “Josh” Westcott and Venetta “Vee” Murphy Westcott, she was the wife of Lester Johnson. Brandi had been born and raised in the Bridgeton area where she lived all of her life. She was a graduate of Cumberland Regional High School and Cumberland County College, where she received an Associate’s Degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Brandi had been employed by Anton’s Florist in Vineland as the manager and wedding floral designer for over 15 years. Her passion for floral design began at the age of 14 when she started working with her mother at Blossoms Flower Shop in Vineland as a wedding floral designer. She had also worked for Talk of the Town Florist and later Shoprite Florist while she was attending college. Brandi loved to work on crafts and go crabbing with her father in her free time. She had a magnetic personality and touched everyone she met in a special way. She is survived by; her husband, Lester Johnson of Minotola; her mother and father, Josiah “Josh” and Venetta “Vee” Westcott of Upper Deerfield Twp.; her niece and adopted daughter, Cheyanne Marie Westcott; her sister-in-law, Patti Fyan; three nieces, Jessica, Katie and Melissa; a nephew, James and four step-sons. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bob” Westcott. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, December 5th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cheyanne Marie Westcott in Brandi’s memory to P.O. Box 60, Deerfield, NJ 08313.
