Obituary of Kim L. Ball

Kim L. Ball, 54, of Vineland died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following a brief illness. Kim was born in Bridgeton to the late Johnnie M. Ball and Dolores M. Fields Ball. She spent her youth in Port Norris and had been a resident of Vineland for over 15 years. Kim had been currently employed at the Vineland Developmental Center for over 15 years. She was recently promoted to supervisor. Prior to that, she had worked at the Woodbine Developmental Center for many years. In her free time, Kim enjoyed visiting the Atlantic City casinos and watching sci-fi movies. In high school, Kim had been a sprinter and had won several races during her high school career. She is survived by; her son, Rashan Ball of Vineland; her siblings, Sara Mae Wilson (Ellsworth) of Seabrook, Denise Artis (Orestes) of Vineland, Johnnie M. Ball, Jr. (Sabine) of Port Norris, Marguerite Ball of Port Norris, James M. Ball (Gladys) of Marietta, GA, Renee’ Williams (Arthur) of Millville, Cheri Mitchell (Gary) of Accokeek, MD and Jeffrey Ball, Sr. (Penny) of Corbin City; a special friend, Kia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by; twin brothers; her nephews, Shawn Michael Ball and Steven Sattler and a niece, Keisha Artis. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp on Thursday, October 29th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
