Virginia Pace, 94, of Millville died on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following a brief illness. Born in Swedesboro to the late Earl Mattson and Ginny Decker Mattson, she was the wife of the late John Pace, Sr. Virginia spent her childhood years in Swedesboro before moving to Cumberland County where she lived for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Virginia had worked for the Cumberland Regional Board of Education as a custodian for many years. She was also a licensed child caregiver, caring for children at her home for many years. In her free time, Virginia enjoyed crocheting and riding horses with her late husband, John. She is survived by; two sons, Robert Stell and his wife Denise of Leesburg and Lewis “Snag” Stell and his wife Ella of Shiloh; a daughter, Dolly Montani and her husband Vince of Avenel; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, John, she was preceded in death by; a son, John Stell; two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUENRAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, October 16th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 1 PM prior to the services.
