Roy E. “Smiley” Watson, Sr., 70, of Millville died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. The husband of Yvonne Collins Watson, he was born in Salem and had been a resident of Millville since 1976. Prior to that he had resided in Upper Deerfield Township. Before his retirement, Roy had been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for 40 years. An avid collector of memorabilia, including Elvis Presley specialties, he also enjoyed traveling and attending live performances in many different places. In addition to his wife Yvonne, Roy is survived by a son, Roy E. Watson, Jr. of Norma; a stepson, David S. Collins of Commercial Township; a sister, Elaine Mooneyham and her husband Wade of Millville and two special nieces, April and Tori Ann Mooneyham. He also had a loving extending family in Canada, his nieces and nephew, Annette, Diane and Glen. He was predeceased by his mother, Ethel Glaspey Walford, his Pop, Howard Walford and his brother, Howard Walford, Jr. Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, October 10th at 11AM.
