Obituary of Fredrick A. Perry

Fredrick A. Perry, 75, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Perth Amboy to the late Everett F. Perry and Jennie Rosypal Perry, he was the husband of Erma Miller Perry and the late Pearl Metcalf Perry and the late Jean Miller Perry. Fred had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1968 and prior to that he had lived in Shiloh. A graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1958, he was an auto mechanic by trade and had operated Perry’s Mobil Service Station in Bridgeton for 40 years. He had then been employed by Walmart in Upper Deerfield Twp. for 5 years in the Automotive Department. Fred was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in Upper Deerfield Twp. and enjoyed traveling and fishing. Besides his wife Erma, he is survived by two children, Theresa Branch and her husband Jay of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Fredrick A. Perry, Jr. of Bridgeton; two brothers and a sister, Everett F. Perry, Jr. of Stow Creek Twp., Dianne Wayne of Alloway Twp. and Wayne Perry of Fairfield Twp; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wives, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne R. Perry. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Fred’s memory be made to the building fund at First Wesleyan Church, 200 Laurel Heights Drive, Bridgeton, NJ.
