Obituary of Margaret Miletta

Margaret Miletta, 82, of Cedarville died on Thursday morning, August 20, 2015 at her home under the care of hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Joseph C. Morrison and Nellie Grabowski Morrison, she was the wife of the late Joseph A. Miletta, Sr. Margaret had been a Cedarville resident for the past 60 years and before that had lived in Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement, Margaret had been employed by the former Murbeck Corp. in Bridgeton and also served as president and secretary/bookkeeper of the Miletta Bros. Steel Fabrication and Millwrights Service from 1992-2012. She was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1951 and a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Michael’s Church in Cedarville. Margaret was known to many as “Aunt Margie”. She enjoyed family activities and cooking on the holidays and cook outs with the family. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph A. Miletta, Jr. and Steven Miletta and his wife Kelly both of Cedarville; her grandson, Joseph V. Miletta of Cedarville; her brother, George H. Morrison, Sr. and his wife Carmela of Bridgeton and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph W. Morrison and two sisters, Mary R. Brown and Ann T. Pettit. The family would like to thank the best caretakers ever; Danielle Kiel, Sharron Gennovario, Cindi Coombs, Diane Burt and Agnes Mensah. In addition, Steve and Joe want to give their special thanks to her brother, (their uncle and aunt) George and Carmela Morison for all the love, care and devotion given to our mother The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, 367 Main Street, Cedarville on Thursday, August 27th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Millville. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, August 26th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Thursday morning, August 27th from 9 AM to 10 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Margaret’s memory to the Inspira Hospice, 1138 East Chestnut Ave. # 3B, Vineland, NJ 08360 or the Alzheimer’s Association, Executive Center of Greentree, 3 Eves Dr. #310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
