Obituary of Lorna A. Thomas

Lorna A. Thomas, 55, of Vineland died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Lincoln Specialty Care in Vineland. She was born in Malvern, St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica and was the daughter of Ivan Thomas and Blossom Forbes Thomas. She had been a resident of Vineland for the past 21 years and had lived in Bridgeton and her native Jamaica prior to that. Lorna had been employed previously with the Claridge Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City as a Cashier. She was a member of Bethlehem Revival Temple in Bridgeton. Surviving are her son, Omar Maitland of Vineland, four brothers and five sisters. She was predeceased by a son, Derron Maitland. Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Revival Temple, 37 South Avenue, Bridgeton on Saturday, July 18th at 10 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 8 to 10 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
