Joseph Frolio, Jr. died peacefully at home after a long battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Joan (Knudsen) Frolio, his brother John Frolio (Elaine), his loving and special grandson Ralph Donato, his loving niece Joan Catalano (Michael),brothers & sisters-in-law Arthur & Maryanne Knudsen and Joe & Marilyn Chinnici and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father and sisters, Betty Pennington, Joan Whilden, Peggy Warburton and his mother and father-in-law Arthur & Rose Knudsen and his brother-in-law Edward Knudsen. Joe was born & raised in Bridgeton. After high school he entered the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Korean Veteran. After his tour, he entered and graduated from Trenton State College. He taught science at Princeton High School prior to his position as District Manager for the New Jersey Dept. of Vocational Rehabilitation-from which he retired in 1991. Joe's favorite pastime and the joy of his life was rescuing, caring for and loving all of his many kitties, Gentry, the Irish Setter and all of God's creatures. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders, St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or Best Friends Animal Society at 5001 Angel Canyon Road, PO Box 315, Kanab UT, 84741 Friends and relatives will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday evening, June 24th from 6 to 8 PM.
