Obituary of Gloria A. Milbourne

Gloria Ann “Mickey” Milbourne, 65, of Lakewood and formerly of Millville departed this life on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Leisure Chateau in Lakewood following several years of declining health. She was born in Bridgeton to her late adopted parents, John L. Goolsby and Addie Collins Goolsby and her biological parents, the late Earl Fortune, Sr. and Grace Collins Fortune. Gloria had lived in Lakewood for the past three years and prior to that had lived in Millville. Before her retirement, she had been employed as an LPN for 25 years at the Vineland Developmental Center. Gloria had also worked as a private duty nurse for the Wheaton Family in Millville for over 10 years. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Cedarville. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, cruises, spending holidays with her family and doting on her grandchildren. Surviving are her two sons, Grant Price of Millville and Dwayne Price of CA; two brothers, Clarence Collins, Sr. of Amsterdam, Holland and Gregory Austin of NY; two sisters, Beverly Williams of Bridgeton and Mary Collins of Millville and five grandchildren. Besides her biological and adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Fortune and Earl Fortune, Jr. Funeral services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 47 Shaffer Ave., Cedarville on Saturday, June 20th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services.
