Obituary of Robert W. Shults

Robert W. Shults, 70, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Saturday June 13, 2015 at Court House Center in Cape May Courthouse. Born in Cosby, TN to the late O. Scott Shults and Lennie Phillips Shults, he was the husband of the late Marie Brown Shults. Robert had been a resident of Upper Deerfield since 1947. Prior to his retirement, he had worked at Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland since 1986. Before that he had been employed by the former Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton. Robert was a member of Union Local 701, Vineland-American Flint Glass Workers Union. Surviving are three brothers, David Shults of Bradenton, FL, Gary Shults of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Calvin Shults of Upper Deerfield Twp. and two sisters, Linda Sooy of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Darlene Bruce of Pittsgrove Twp. Besides his wife Marie, Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele L. Shults; two brothers, Benjamin “Clinton” Shults and Caroll Shults and two sisters, Irene Gilean and Zell Ford. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, June 18th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
