Please share a memory of Steven to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Steven Russell Seitz, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 . Beloved father of Shelby Marie Seitz, 20, Steven always encouraged his daughter to dream big and go far in life. He was her rock, her confidante, her friend. Steven is also survived by his loving wife of 9 years , Vanessa (nee Stahlberger), his stepdaughter Kayla Ricci, his father Charles Seitz (Dorothy), sister Marie Seitz, brother Peter Seitz, brother Charles (Beth) Seitz, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is fondly remembered by his best friend Mike Laury, with whom he grew up and shared countless memories. Steven is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (nee Gant), his sister Gloria Kratz, and his nephew Dale Madkiff Jr. Steven was a graduate of Millville Senior High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a current employee of ShopRite in Upper Deerfield, where he worked for the past 12 years. Prior to that, Steven was a manager at Wawa and worked at Acme for several years. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Steven loved the Philadelphia Eagles, the Phillies, and the LA Angels. He was a skilled carpenter and thrived on continually improving his home. Steven never passed up a trip to the shopping outlets in Lancaster and loved to golf as well. He was an avid fan of aviation and fulfilled a lifelong dream last summer when he finally got to fly a bi-plane. Steven will be dearly missed by his family, his friends, and his colleagues. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, June 1st at 11 AM.
