Obituary of Beatrice C. Fogle

Beatrice C. Fogle, 70, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Manhattan, NY to the late Horace E. Crane and Dorothy Conklin Crane, she was the wife of Walter W. Fogle, Jr. Walter and Beatrice would have celebrated 48 years of marriage on this coming June 17th. She had been an Upper Deerfield Twp. resident since 1967 and prior to that had lived in Point Pleasant Beach. Before her retirement, Beatrice had taught second grade at Hopewell Crest School in Hopewell Twp. for 23 years. She had attended First Wesleyan Church in Upper Deerfield Twp. and was an active member of the Georgetown Swim Club and the former Sun and Fun Swim Club in Bridgeton. In her free time she enjoyed making flower arrangements and going to yard sales. She greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and would have done anything for them. Besides her husband Walter, she is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Byrne of Beachwood and Margaret Ferreira and her husband, Philip of Atlanta, GA ; four grandchildren, Emily Byrne, Liam Byrne, Simao Ferreira and Dewey Ferreira; a brother, Jonathan Crane of Rochester Hills, MI; a sister, Susan Groppe of Memphis, TN and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace E. Crane, Jr. and Josiah W. Crane. Private memorial services will be held at First Wesleyan Church, Upper Deerfield Twp. at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Beatrice’s memory be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
