Margaret Smith, 72, of Millville died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home under the care of Hospice. She was born in Bridgeton to the late Samuel Smith and Lydia Johnson Smith Ore. Margaret had lived in Millville for the past 15 years and prior to that she had been a Bridgeton area resident most of her life. A homemaker, she enjoyed watching movies and dancing. Her favorite actors were Charlton Heston, Robert Redford and Charles Bronson and she loved to watch the movie, “Avatar”. She is survived by a daughter, Christine Baker of Millville; a son, William Leek of Hopewell Twp.; a sister, Mary E. Pappas of NC; two brothers, Leon Ore, Jr. of Millville and Howard I. Ore of Vineland; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, David Leek and her step-father, Leon Ore, Sr. God Took Her To His Loving Home God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be. He took her in his loving arms and whispered ‘Come to Me.’ She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend. She faced her pain with courage, until the very end. She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain, God took her to his loving home and freed her from the pain. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
