Myrtle Shilling, born in Millville on October 3, 1937, passed away Wednesday, May 6th 2015 after a long drawn out illness. Myrtle is survived by her two daughters, Joanne Bakley of Dover, DE and Dianne Bakley of Bridgeton; two sisters, Esther Reno of AZ and Eleanor Allgrove of Hopewell Twp.; a grandson, William Smith of DE and a great-grandson, William Smith, Jr. of DE. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Bakley. Prior to her retirement in 1993, Myrtle had worked for Bridgeton Hospital for 28 years in the Dietary Dept. She had been a member of the Bridgeton 7th Day Adventist Church and loved to shop and spend time with her family and friends. God gave Myrtle the gift of giving and she always thought of others first. Death leaves a heartache difficult to heal. Love leaves sweet memories no one can steal. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, May 12th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
