Obituary of Mary S. Dare

Mary S. Dare, 99, of Stow Creek Township passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township. The daughter of the late James D. Smith and Edna Evans Smith, she was born in Bridgeton and was the wife of the late Raymond H. Dare. She had been a resident of Stow Creek Township since 1948 and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards with her friends and knitting. Surviving are her seven grandchildren, Patricia MacMaster, David Tilton, Lewis Dare, Raymond Dare (Sharon), Lewis DePitro (Janice), Corey DePitro (Michelle) and Lauren DePitro, nine great-grandchildren a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Dare. She was predeceased by her daughter, Edna Tilton, her son, Raymond Dare, Jr. and her brother, James E. Smith. Graveside funeral services will be held at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton on Friday, April 17th at 11 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
