Obituary of Shirley A. Fewell

Shirley A. Fewell, 78, of Upper Deerfield Township died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. The daughter of the late Seward Sanders and Gertrude Warren Sanders, she was born in Rock, West Virginia and was the wife of the late James N. Fewell. She had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for the past 12 years and had resided in Bridgeton prior to that. Before her retirement, Shirley had been employed for many years with Wheaton Glass Company in Millville and the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia A. Swanson (Brian) of Upper Deerfield Township and Linda Fewell of Parkersburg, WVA; three brothers, Gene Sanders of Chicago, IL and Dale and Lowell Sanders both of Rock, WVA; seven grandchildren, Cathy Blake and her husband Gabriel of Kings Bay, GA, Mark and Blake Sanders of Marion, VA, Lorna Parks and her husband Micky of Marion, VA, Brian and Spencer Swanson of Bridgeton, Gunners Mate 3rd Class, Joshua Swanson of Bridgeton currently serving in the U.S. Navy; four great-grandchildren, Darryl Blake of Kings Bay, GA, Callie and Michael Parks of Marion, VA and Brook Sanders of Marion, VA; a brother in law, Johnny Fewell and sister in law, Ruth Fewell both of Sardis, MS and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Sanders, two sisters, Joyce Baeder and Norma Janet Sanders and two brothers, Edsell and Tommy Sanders. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday evening, March 17th from 6 to 7 PM.
