Obituary of Michael Lee Johnson

Michael “Dapper” Johnson, 54, of Bridgeton died on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at South Jersey Extended Care following an extended illness. He was born in Vineland to Jackie Lee Johnson and Shirley L. (Six) Johnson. Michael had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Prior to his illness, Michael had been employed as a roofer with Dan Gidrell Roofing in Upper Deerfield Twp. He was an avid NASCAR fan, particularly Jeff Gordon and he was also a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael also loved to fish in his free time. He was a member of the 5th Ward Club in Bridgeton. He is survived by; his parents, Jack and Shirley Johnson of Bridgeton; his grandmother, Elizabeth Six of Bridgeton; a special cousin, Pamela Soma of Rosenhayn; a special Aunt, Nora Woodis of Rosenhayn and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
