Betty M. Tomaski (See), 87, of Vineland, and formally of Pittsgrove, passed away peacefully at South Jersey Regional Medical Center on Saturday, January 21, 2012 with her family by her side. Betty was born in Brisbane, Australia on March 30, 1924 to the late William See and Jean MacIntosh See. In her youth she enjoyed playing tennis and dancing. While living in Brisbane, Betty met Joseph, her husband of 56 years where he was stationed in the U.S. Army. Betty came to live in the United States when she was 21 with her daughter. For many years, Betty was the bookkeeper for her late husband and son's auto shop in Pittsgrove which she enjoyed very much. She loved cooking by her husband's side, going to the casinos and playing cards with close friends. She also enjoyed her 30+ trips to Australia to visit her brother, Roy See and various family members. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Patrick McHugh of Bridgeton; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kimberly Tomaski of Vineland; grandchildren, Tracy Benfer, Gene McHugh, Tiffany Jester, Lindsey VanAcker, and Brittany Tomaski and great-grandchildren, Scott Benfer Jr., Holly Benfer and Olivia VanAcker. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Woodbury Memorial Park in Gloucester Township. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
