William C. Hand, 84, of Newport died on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
He was born in Newport to the late Wilson C. Hand and Hattie Thorman Hand. Bill was a lifetime resident of Newport.
Prior to his retirement in 1992, Bill had worked for Wheaton Glass in Millville for over 25 years. He was a member of Fortescue Chapel in Fortescue.
He is survived by his sister Mary Yoey of Cedarville and was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson and James Hand.
Services were private at the convenience of the family. Interment took place at Newport Methodist Church Cemetery in Newport. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes
