Betty (Brown) Wynder, age 64, was the oldest of four children, born in Lumpkin , Georgia on March 29, 1950 to the late Clara (Brown-Marshal) and Buck Staton. She departed this life on February 1, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Betty and her late husband, George Wydner, came to St. John U.M. Church where she joined the Usher Board for a few years moving on as a Church Greeter and Communion Steward. She was a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. Betty loved gospel music and enjoyed gong to hear different singers at the church. One of her favorite songs was “Jesus Will Pick You Up” by Angelic Voices of Faith. Betty’s favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” She leaves to cherish her memories; twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Staton of Bridgeton; her sister, Inez Staton of Westville; two nephews, Azmar Jones of Millville, and Akeem Staton of Bridgeton; a niece, Alicia Allen of Westville; an aunt and uncle, Ella and Buck Williams of Cedarville; an uncle, Charles Marshall of Georgia; a god child, Iesha Watson of Fairfield Twp.; her lifetime best friend, Equilla Harris of Bridgeton, and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wynder, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buck Statin and several Aunts and Uncles. Funeral services will be held at St. John United Methodist Church, 680 Fordville Rd., Fairfield Twp. on Monday, February 9th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM prior to t he services.
