Stanley N. Bennett, 76, of Bridgeton passed away at his home on Thursday, January 8, 2015 while under the care of Inspira Health Network Hospice. Stan was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton, graduating from Bridgeton High School in 1954. He attended Philadelphia College of Art in Philadelphia, PA, majoring in Advertising. After three years of service with the Army in Germany, he returned home to Bridgeton where he was employed by Cowan Printing. This was followed by a 30 year executive career in marketing and advertising design at the Franklin Mint, QVC Network and Devon Direct Marketing and Advertising. Upon his retirement in 2001 he discovered a passion for digital photography, combining inspired nature and many local scenic subjects. He was a member of the Photographic Society of Vineland and was chosen their “Outstanding Photographer of the Year” in 2006 and 2007 and earned a “Masters Trophy” in 2008. Other awards and recognitions included works he displayed in the Ocean City Art Center, Delaware Valley Council of Camera Clubs, Delaware Bay Days Festival, New Jersey Senior Art Show, Cumberland County Library and exhibited on many occasions at Gallery 50 Inc. in Bridgeton. In addition to his dedicated wife, Kathy, Stan is survived by; his daughters, Dr. Kimberly R. Stein of Lake Worth, FL and Kelly L. Miletta and her husband Steve of Cedarville, NJ; his son, Christopher D. Bennett of Bridgeton; two grandchildren, Zachary Stein of FL and Joseph V. Miletta of Cedarville; a sister, Mae Gandy of Salem, NJ and a brother, Carlton Bennett and his wife Louise of Bridgeton. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77 Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, January 16th at 7:45 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 PM to 7:45 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Stan's memory to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360, the Cohanzick Zoologic Society, 45 Mayor Aitken Dr., Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or Hospice of Inspira Health Network, 1138 East Chestnut Ave., Vineland, NJ 08360.
