Edward Spence, Jr., 74, of Salem died on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Golden Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem.
Born in Salem to the late Edward Spence, Sr. and Helen Halestock Spence, he was the husband of the late Delores Draper Spence. Edward had been a Salem resident most of his life.
He was a graduate of Salem High School and prior to his retirement, he had been employed with the E.I. DuPont Corp. in Newport, DE.
He is survived by his three children, Terry Still-Woodard, Michael Spencer and Latasia Winchester. He was preceded in death by two children, Dante Spence and Anita Deshields.
Funeral services will be held at Kingdom Covenant, 427 West Landis Ave., Vineland on Friday, December 26th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
