Obituary of Thomas E. Gilliard

Thomas E. Gilliard, 55, of Stow Creek Twp. died on Sunday evening, November 30th, 2014 at his home under the care of hospice. Born in Woodbury to Bernadine Kelly Gilliard of Stow Creek Twp. and the late Louis Gilliard, he was the husband of Frances Housewright Gilliard. He had lived at his present address for the past three years and prior to that had resided in Sheps Valley in Salem County and Allentown, PA. Tom had worked at the former Pike Lanes, now Legacy Lanes in Bridgeton for over 25 years. Before that he was a truck driver. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters; Kellee L. McArdle of Stow Creek Twp., Dawn Gilliard of Upper Deerfield Twp and Holly Gilliard-Hamidy of Stow Creek Twp.; a brother, Louis Gilliard, Jr. of Millville and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Sammy Gilliard. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, December 5th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
