Obituary of Florence Barbara Sipps

Florence Barbara Sipps, 56, of Bridgeton, passed away the South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Unit, Bridgeton, on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. She had been in failing health for the past 6 months. She was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Barbara Overstreet. She had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton and Greenwich areas. For the past 5 years Florence had been employed with the Cumberland Insurance Group and prior to that with Century Federal Savings Bank and Colonial Bank. In her younger years she had worked at the former Richmond's Dairy Bar in Hopewell Township. She was a graduate of Bridgeton High School. She loved listening to music. Survivors include: two sisters, Betty Ann Glaspey and Doris Louise Mordan; two brothers, Matthew H. Overstreet and Bobby Ray Overstreet; two aunts, Doris Dematteo and Pearl Bert; two uncles, Leroy Kennedy and Benny Overstreet, in addition to many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be private, at the convenience of the family, from the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. There will be no public viewing.
