Obituary of Edward T. Pollock

Edward T. Pollock, 75, of Bridgeton died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. Born in Bridgeton to the late Robert Pollock, Sr. and Edna Silvers Pollock, he was the husband of Gloria Mann Pollock and was a lifetime Bridgeton resident. Mr. Pollock was a veteran having served his country in the United States Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed for many years with Kerr Glass in Millville. Besides his wife Gloria, he is survived by, two daughters, Jean Pollock of Bridgeton and Carol Ortiz and her husband Eli of Pittsgrove; a brother, Harry Pollock of Hopewell Twp.; three sisters, Mary France of AZ, Harriett Leach of Pittsgrove and Christina Manyolis of AL; a grandson, Alec Ortiz and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Pollock, Jr. and Walter Pollock and a sister, Loretta Hoe. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, September 18th at 2 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Pollock’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
