Ken, Rosalia & Ken, Jr.:
I was a childhood friend of Laura's. I know she was a very special and thoughtful Daughter and friend. The last time I saw her was in the Cumberland Mall when she was pushing her Daughter in a stroller. I was thinking of her recently and decided to "Google" her name. How truly saddened I was to learn that she had passed away. This has broken a piece of my heart. I spent countless sleepovers at her house, riding bikes, going to the YMCA and just having kid fun. I regularly visited Laura's Mom, with Laura, when she was a patient in the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland, NJ especially Christmas-time when we would take a small artificial tree and decorate it for her so I know some of the struggles your family faced with Laura's illness. I just wanted to send my condolences and sympathy to each one of you.
