Obituary of Marion J. Sorantino

Marion J. Sorantino, 71, of Millville died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Cedarville to the late George Kell and Margaret Wadell Kell, she was the wife of Joseph J. Sorantino, Jr. Marion had been a resident of Millville for the past 20 years and prior to that had lived in Cedarville. In addition to being a homemaker and caring for her family she had served for many years as the Secretary and Treasurer of Sorantino Produce Inc. She had attended Chestnut Assembly of God in Vineland. Marion loved spending time with her family and at the Jersey Shore. In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by her two children, Stephanie Sorantino of Winter Park, FL and Stephen Sorantino and his wife Debbie of Vineland; four grandchildren, Joseph J. Sorantino, IV, Allison Sorantino, Devon Sorantino and Rachel Davis; two sisters, Alice Campbell of Dividing Creek and Ethel Gates of Cedarville; her Godson and nephew, Christopher Gribble of Vineland; her mother in law, Margaret Sorantino of Cedarville and her sister and brother in law, Carol and Jack Gribble of Vineland and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph “Jay” Sorantino, III; three brothers, Robert Kell, Joseph “Bucky” Kell and George Kell; a sister, Dorothy Estadt and her father in law, Joseph J. Sorantino, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday June 9th at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services.
